James 1:2-4

"My brethen, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

Psalm 121:1-2

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."

I gave my life to Christ on September 30, 2001, but it wasn't until November of 2003, after dicovering that my mother was diagnosed with cancer that I received revelation that I could no longer ride the motions of religiosity. It was then that I built a solid, sincere relationship with God. Although it wasn't in God's will to heal my mother, my faith, hope and trust in God increased during that difficult time. It was only because of the relationship that I had built with God that when my mother passed away Christmas Eve morning of 2004 I was able to endure.

I believe that I have testimony for all young, single women that are seeking to live a life centered in the will of God. Writing about God and for Him is part of my ministry to encourage people. Certainly, my writing journey and how He leads me is not about me, but this is how God has ordained for me to do ministry to those that are hurting and in despair. Am I perfect? I'm so far from it, but I thank God for them twins, grace and mercy. And I am thankful that He chose an imperfect being as myself to partake in the building of His Kingdom.

Be Blessed and stay Encouraged!
