I recommend reading books on the craft of writing, manuscript submissions and etc...Remember, what you put in is what will come out. I once read a quote from a well known publisher and editor that said, "It's impossible to be a great writer if you don't like to read books. And if you are not an advocate reader, it will show up in your writing."
