Bishop Quindell Jackson has heard from the Lord. It is time for some real ministry. And he is now on a mission to intervene between the rivalry of two local gangs on the dangerous streets of Youngstown Ohio. He will do everything in his power to save the future next generation.  God gives him a vision to go beyond the four walls of Upper Room Baptist Church. But he soon discovers that the rudiments of men are the least of his troubles. He finds himself up against the cold politics of city officials who will do any and every thing for money and power. Even if it means destroying other peoples children one by one. The Bishop and his family find themselves in the crossfire of a war that is far beyond their understanding. But faith, hope, sacrifice and a determination to stay in God's will helps him to press to complete his task that God has given him. And he will not stop until justice prevails, and he brings the lost children back to the arch of safety.

Chapter One

               Divine Revelation

The Lord_ is blessing me_ right now_ ohhh right now.  The Choir swayed in angelic harmony from side to side in total sync.  India Jackson in her white and purple robe that was trimmed in gold lettering with the lettering URBC that ran down the left side of her robe, acronym that stood for Upper Room Baptist Church. India danced across the pulpit, stomping like she was at the Savoy and clapping her hands.  She raised her right hand and the tenors came in with, “The Lord is blessing me right now. The Lord is blessing me right now."

The choir, which consisted of about thirty-five members, was singing the gates of heaven open in total eloquence.  The large winged arms on their robes swayed in harmony with their movement.  Bishop Quindell Jackson stood proud like a peacock watching his baby girl direct that choir like she was Richard Smallwood, and they were the Vision choir.  Some of the members had just about shouted out of their purple and white robes with the gold lettering. Hattie Valentine, one of the a.k.a. butt sisters had jumped off the pew and shouted,  “Y’all betta sing!”  Her twin sister Mattie Valentine daintily fanned while softly praying,  “Bless Jesus.” Hattie, being the oldest by ten minutes was known to wear false hips and false everything for that matter.  She had the biggest plumpest roundest behind that any man could ever lay their eyes upon.  Once Bishop Jackson’s youngest brother, who was known to be a womanizer had almost sweated blood while sitting behind Hattie one Sunday.  She was up clapping and dancing while her huge behind switched from side to side.  Booker T’s mouth watered and his eyes bulged at what he was seeing.

“Is that real?” he had asked Deacon Levirtue Brown, in regards to Hattie’s butt.

Deacon Brown giggled at how Booker T was so amazed over one woman’s behind and he replied,  “My Lawd, son, I don’t know.”
